Did you think they were gonna make a championship run? Gives Ainge the ammo to sell at deadline.

Boston was out of the championship contention long before this. Now NBA fans and especially C's fans can only hope that he's able to make a quick full recovery and be ready and back to his former self next season. Sucks to see this happen to him.

Keyon Dooling has said he will come out of retirement if the Celtics want him. He actually played well at the end of the year and wouldn't be a a bad option. I

Yeah I'm sure Kenyon Dooling will step right into Rondo's place and Celtics won't miss a beat.

                  The C's have two options.

                  A) Ride out the season with what they have, give Sully, Bradley, Green, Lee playing time and at best finish 7th or 8th and lose in the opening round

                  OR

                  B) Ainge grows a pair and blows it up now.

Signing Keyon Dooling or trading for a bit player is idiotic, stick with what you got and get the few young guys some valuable experience down the stretch or begin tanking.

supposedly the C's record is better when he's not playing...or is around the same...

It seems a lot of NBA players have been getting these ACL injuries.

Blow what up? Trade KG or Pierce? What young guys are going to be playing PG? If anything they just go with Lee which would be fine.

Pierce deserves to retire as a Celtic

Despite Rondo's injury I wouldn't bet on Boston just giving up..too much pride there and it starts with Doc.....the win against Miami was a great illustration of that
