    Seems like an okay deal.

I haven't really been following the Bulls that closely but why would they do this? I thought Boozer was having a pretty good year.

I would guess they feel that Barg can add more on the offensive end when D-Rose comes back.

Boozer sucks.....but honestly he's been a pretty large disappointment since signing. this season had been the exception rather than the rule for him in Chicago. He's more than likely a declining asset and player for they remainder if his deal. Bargs seems to have better long term sustainability at this point

I wouldn't make this trade if I were the Raptors. Now with Gay in the lead role, Derozan as his side-kick, maybe Bargnani can become a more effective player with a little less pressure. He was never a #1 guy. Boozer is old, expensive and not worth the money.

The only way Bargs is gonna become a better player is if he's under a coach like Thibs or Pop

Bargs will always be what he is... soft, jump shooting Euro.

Which is ok. Boozer won't be what he was ever again or for much longer.

I agree he's a soft, jump shooting Euro ... but when he's on his offensive game, he can be very effective and with the Raptors' current lineup, could really improve floor spacing if he can get some of his offensive mojo from early last year back.

yea oddly enough I feel the Bulls would improve with this move, and they can get Gibson more burn, who is much better defensively...

I think Thibs could get ANYONE to play defense in his system.

I'd imagine fans that have issues with Boozer's rotation and lack of strong finishes in the post will really embrace Bargs.

I don't like this deal for the sole idea that it eliminates the ability to amnesty Boozer and take that huge chunk off your books. Bargs is signed through 2014-15 at 11 and 12 million.

LOL @ the thought of Bargs playing for Tibs.

                          Good luck with all that.
