Scratch that - Orlando sends Josh McRoberts to Charlotte for Hakim Warrick in separate deal.

Doron Lamb is a rookie that will benefit from getting some minutes in Orlando. Tobias Harris is a solid defender that has some potential. Udrih was added for monies-sake.

I wish the Bucks would have used Lamb a bit more.

Atlanta Hawks blow up deal at last minute that would've sent Josh Smith to Milwaukee. Hawks would've received Ekpe Udoh, Luc Mbah-Moute, Beno Udrih and a protected No. 1 pick. Can't imagine the Bucks are happy having invested so much time in trying to make it happen.

Redick becomes their most efficient guard

Perfectly happy getting Redick for what we gave up. I like Harris' upside but am alright letting him go. I like him as a player. Will be nice to have a guard that can shoot over 35%.

However I am a bit baffled by the makeup of the current roster and how it projects for the future. I don't understand how we don't also move Monta in a move to accompany this one. I've seen Hammond getting blasted elsewhere and I have to agree. We just gave away young talent for a three month rental guard who won't even start (assumption, IMO he should start over Ellis but its the Bucks, they won't do the right thing) and isn't exactly ideal size to throw out there at SF. In addition we got rid of our backup PG. So i assume we are going with a 3 gaurd rotation. At the end of the season we realistically could lose all three guards. We have control over BJ but if someone makes an offer to him we'll have to overpay greatly to keep him which IMO would be a HUGE mistake. As much as I hope he reaches his potential he does not deserve the money he wants. He's already shot down 4 for $40 mil.

If we would have moved Monta in addition, I would have really liked the move. Now we lose Ellis for nothing, could lose Redick for nothing after giving up young players, and could lose BJ for nothing. All this to firm up our hold on the 8th seed where we will promptly get bounced by Miami, and wind up with a crap draft pick. To top it off they just gave Hammond an extension. Awesome. Worst run franchise in sports next to the Colorado Avalanche. Sadly I'm a fan of both. Herb Kohl needs to sell the team or die.

The only way this team ever becomes relevant again is to luck into a couple of stars in the draft. This cycle of making moves to make a run at the 8th seed needs to end.
