I know. NBADraft.net has them taking Bennett. Rumors swirling that Washington leaked the weight gain rumor hoping to get teams to back off of him for some reason

Charlotte is pretty confident they'll be able to draft Porter as well which is why they're shopping MKG. They're claiming Washington is a definite for Bennett .

I definitely agree with the sentiment that Shabazz is underrated, it's really starting to remind me of Drummond from last year.

There's a certain point where you've got to look past character issues and acquire talent. Minnesota needs a wing, if Bazz is on the board and they don't take him they are retarded. At worst you'll get Nick Young.

Exactly why you don't want to draft him.

Next years draft has players with wayyy more potential than this years. Obviously they're thinking the same way
You understand a trade involving a 2014 1st would probably be lottery protected right?

When you get to that point of the draft, teams start to weigh "potential" way too much...its why you get solid players sliding into the back end of Round 1 and into Round 2. Some examples...Roy Hibbert sliding to 17, Rajon Rondo sliding into the 20's, Danny Granger sliding to 17, Tayshaun Prince into the 20's, etc. These guys were considered pretty rock solid prospects with very high floors. But you see players ahead of them with varying degrees of perceived potential go ahead of them. I think the same thing will happen to Shabazz...if your floor is Nick Young, that's a solid player. Do I think he turns into Hibbert or Rondo...no. But I think he's a solid player.

Wtf are you talking about? NY is a guy that can score in the high-teens given starters minutes and occasionally go off for 30+. Considering this is a weak draft, getting a guy whose FLOOR is likely NY at 10 would be excellent.

Why would Golden State even consider that deal.
This has since been refuted as an erroneous blogger report. Rich Cho said they are not shopping MKG.

Horncats trying to trade down to acquire more picks... rumor is of Derrick Williams + 9 + 26 for #4. Cho loves Cody Zeller, but can't justify taking him at #4.

I just thought but Otto Porter seems like a more athletic Shane Battier.

Dennis Schroeder is the most exciting prospect in this draft.

That is a very good, safe player. You're getting a damn good pro for 10+ years.
