Houston was dealt a devastating blow on Friday as leading scorer Joseph Young -- along with his father and Director of Basketball Operations Michael Young -- announced they were leaving the program, according to a report from the Houston Chronicle.

Houston's leading scorer sophomore guard Joseph Young will transfer. His father, Michael Young, was a former player during the Phi Slamma Jamma years and has been the Director of Basketball Operations at Houston for the last 7 years. He was offered a reassignment and chose to leave prompting his son to also leave the program.
