Doug Collins Will Not Return To Philly

I like Collins as a coach, but I like him more as an analyst on TV.

He was a great person, told it like it was with the media and seemed to know what he was talking about at times but as a coach he is still very mediocre. He HATED young players and refused to play them (Turner his rookie year, Vucevic, Moultrie) and just seemed clueless when it came down to coaching in clutch situations (the countless Lou Williams ISO's last year). Got lucky that Derrick Rose died in the first round last year and that helped him and the Sixers get overrated as they took the Celtics down to the wire. Mike Budenholzer and Brian Shaw are the two coaches I hope they go after the most aggressively and I sure hope a new GM is on the way too.
