First, Doc Rivers would be let out of his deal with Boston and he'd go to the Clippers.

If Bledsoe would be involved, I wouldn't be a fan of including picks. Jordan plus picks, or Jordan and Bledsoe. Not both. It'd be better for Bledsoe to get moved because I think he deserves to be a starter.

The picks will have to be in there due to a competition clause in Rivers' contract. It states that Rivers can't work for another NBA team during the tenure of his contract with the Celtics. In order for that to be waived by Danny Ainge? The Celtics will need to receive picks and cash options in return.

Essentially they're working on two separate trades. One that covers Rivers and then a second involving the players that wish to go with Rivers (KG/Pierce).

Considering what the Celtics got KG/Allen for? There's no way they don't get value in return.

I could be wrong, but I bet the Clips are thinking they're giving up Jordan for KG and Rivers which makes it much better for them. If they have an ounce of brain in any of their heads they wouldn't be doing this just to get a 37 yo PF they'll have to limit minutes for.

But Bledsoe wouldn't be a starter in Boston, unless he played the 2, so I don't think he's clamoring to go there.
