Thoughts from game against the Fighting Durants
-EJ is actually healthy. Not 80% or 90%. I believe he is truly healthy. Haven't seen him move and work like that since Opening night of the strike season.
-Al Farouq Aminu might be in for a quiet breakout season. There are things he has added to his game this offseason(Acceptable mid range shot) will go far in his contributions to the team. That on top of his on ball D and his ability to rebound will ensure he gets plenty of minutes. Speaking of his D. Durant shot 8/20. That is something anyone can deal with.
-Jrue Holiday is starting to get comfortable. Watching him and AD work the pick and roll is a thing of beauty. All I would really like out of Jrue is something like 12 pts 7 assists 2-3TOs. The turnovers is the one I truly care about. Points will be able to come from multiple players on the roster. Tonight he had only 2 TOs in 25 minutes of play.
-(Obligatory Austin Rivers mention) His on ball D is one of the best on the team. There are a few things he still needs to work on(Free throws being one of them). He is starting to display some nice court vision and he is making smarter decisions when deciding to drive.
This team will be quite enjoyable to watch.

The fact that Houston was willing to pay to have him off the roster tells it all. He has all the free time and comes in out of shape. He gives people who suffer from anxiety problems a bad name.
