wat are you saying? that Socttie Pippen was a great shooter?

anyone who watched basketball during that era would never say Pippen was a 'great shooter', they wouldnt even say a 'very good shooter'

maybe the Pippen nuthuggers would say we was a 'better than average' shooter at best

Pippen was a good shooter. Nothing more. Nothing less.

I would say Pippen was a good enough shooter.

Did you guts know up until this season (Ben Gordon) Pippen was the Bulls all-time leader in 3pt field goals made? I was surprised when I heard that, because I never saw Pippen as that type of shooter. I knew he had good fg% numbers, but I always saw him at best as a decent shooter from 3pt range, but nothing special.

Pip was a pretty good shooter. However, don't get too pumped up about his career fg%. That's as much an indication of him having pretty good shot selection as anything else. After all, Dennis Rodman's career fg% is .521, 39th best all time & I don't think anyone would call him a good shooter.

Yeah Pippen had great shot selection but FG% obviously takes a higher priority over Rodman who shot 52% while averaging 7.3 PPG and making mostly bunny putbacks for most of his career while Pip shot 47% averaging 16 PPG his career and taking mostly jumpers from the SF, Point forward position.

Agreed, just used Rodman to make my point since that was the first person to pop into my mind.
