USF couldve done alot worse than Masiello. His players love him and he was always one of the top recruiters while he was at Louisville. he has connections in NYC and the Southeast.

Antigua has been offered Head Coaching jobs previously. Cal has tried telling all his assistants that they shouldnt take jobs unless it is a top 3 job in the conference.

As an alum I am perfectly happy with Masiello. I just thought it was going to be Antigua. Either way, our new AD is committed to having both basketball and football programs at the top of the conference. I'm happy with the selection, just hope he can get us to relevance for the first time ever.

Turns out Masiello never graduated from UK. USF school policy dictates that all those employed as a head coach, in any capacity, must hold a Bachelor's degree.

This would happen to USF. We pick the guy who lied on his resume about graduating from college.

UNLV's Dave Rice has been offered the head coaching job at South Florida.

Looks like Dave Rice just met with AD Harlan. Per media, no offer was made. Read between the lines...me thinks Rice wasn't that interested.
