The only guy past his prime is Duncan.. and even then he's still a very dependable player.
Tony Parker is a Top 2 point guard in basketball right now .. depending on where you rank Chris Paul. Kawhi Leonard is one of the better young players in the game. And their role players are excellent.
There are reasons they just ran the MVP and co off the floor in 2 games.Originally posted by ram29jacksonI already said months ago that Seattle wasn't winning any SBComment

Really? Who cares? They win. If they win with 43-year-old midgets, they still win. The Spurs should be celebrated, not ridiculed.Last edited by dave; 05-22-2014, 11:59 PM.My Twitch video link: http://www.twitch.tv/dave374000

They play ball the way it was played when I watched multiple games a week back when I was in high school.
I love watching the fundamentals of the sport rather than the trash we see in the NBA these days. The Spurs play fundamental basketball and win without big name players.

All i want to know is what you consider a big name player then.Comment

Do I once again have to remind you about what you've previously posted? You mentioned that the Spurs have no big name players. Please check yourself before you wreck yourself, buddy.Comment

Yes they have Duncan and Parker who are future HOFamers. As far as headliners or top players in the league ... Not anymore. My exact point.

First, let's not mince words here or edit them or whatever. The term you used was "big named players". You stated that the Spurs have no "big named players". So under your magic formula for "big named players" (aka the top 40 scoring list), you would not consider Kobe Bryant a "big named player" anymore, correct? What about Chris Paul? He's outside the top 40 scoring this past season, would he be a nobody? Just want to get my facts straight over here.
Also, it seems you really put a lot of emphasis on "scoring", rather than any other statistic. I guess it doesn't matter that Tim Duncan was top 5 in blocks this season. Nope. He's washed up, old, and a no-name.
By the way, we get it, they are a great all-around team, no one is arguing that fact. Like usual, you missed that part.
You probably should watch your attitude, boy.Comment
