    Jason Kidd to Leave Brooklyn?

Didn't see this one coming. Story goes that Kidd requested the ability to control personnel decisions and was shot down.

Nets have given Milwaukee permission to interview Kidd for a team president type of position.

Jason Kidd's future as coach of the Brooklyn Nets is uncertain after an attempt to gain more power within the organization led to the team granting him permission to interview with the Milwaukee Bucks, according to sources close to the process.

I don't see why Kidd has been so demanding of the Nets and the Nets haven't asked for much in return.

Smart move for Kidd. Brooklyn is an often injured and aging team that had a 1 year window. Milwaukee is a young team with a future star and little expectations. Kidd can go to the Bucks, be treated as a savior and be given full power.

Milw owner evidently wants to give Kidd the keys to the kgdm. So he pulled the leverage play. What's really bad is the Buck brass & HC not knowing Kidd is interviewing for their jobs.

if Kidd wants to go to Milwaukee, let him go...Nets can grab someone else to coach.

Over next couple days, Bucks will name Kidd as their new head coach.

Imagine how Larry Drew feels. Saturday afternoon everything is cool and within a dew hours, tiu hear your bosses are talking about replacing you only because the media are reporting about it.

So i assume the Bucks were talking to Kidd prior so is that considered tampering since he's under contract? Or does that not apply to coaches?

There was definitely tampering, but I don't know if the NBA automatically investigates or if the Nets have to file a grievance.

Jason Kidd went from almost being fired from the Nets in the first month, this shit , to now being handed the keys to the Bucks.

Seeing as he helped his son leave Chapel Hill mid season w/o telling Roy Williams, I would say the withDrew family is OK w/people not being up front w/stuff.

Maybe he was upset that Williams was going to make him start attending class?

Supposedly, he wasn't making anyone go to class.

Thats understandable. Its hard to make kids go to class from the golf course.
