Blake will be starting for Memphis next year :tee:

Even though I don't like him, I hope he keeps playing somehow (NBA/NCAA) so I can shout" Griffindor wins!" whenever he makes a play.

I wonder how he'd do in an offensive system like the Suns. It would be interesting to watch.

Not likely. As a Grizzlies fan, I can tell you to not hold your breathe. We've been screwed in the lottery the past 2 seasons.

If everything went as planned, my Grizz would have Kevin Durant and Michael Beasley right now.

I think we will get the number one pick this year though.

I can't see Griffin being 6'7". He seems about 6'9" to me.

Dude is going to be even more of a playmaker in the NBA.

He'd do great in a pick and roll system. Imo, he's like Amare when he was a rookie with more bulk.

He'll develop a decent 10 foot jumper and should blossom into an All-Star caliber player.

I think DeJuan Blair of Pitt is more like Barkley than Griffin. Blair is such a quick jumper.

Personally, Griffin actually reminds me more of Larry Johnson. FWIW, I didn't think LJ would amount to much in the pros for pretty much the same reasons you gave doubting Griffin. I actually thought Augmon would fare better. Since then, I'm a little gunshy about predicting what 6'6" to 6'8" post-players will do in the NBA.
