Giants show that you dont have to be the most talented team in football (IE Cowboys) and spend the most money in football (IE Cowboys and Redskins) in order to win football games.

Plaxico returns to Pittsburgh and will be looking to put on a show. With a banged up Willie Parker and not the strongest line I think the Giants defensive line has the edge and will do what the Eagles did to Ben back in Week 3. But with the Steelers being the best defense in football yardage wise and against the pass, it seems like Eli will have a bad day. Well lets look at the teams the Steelers have played, Houston, Cleveland, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Jacksonville and Cincy. Only one potent passing team on that list, Philadelphia, and thats when McNabb had neither Reggie Brown or Kevin Curtis. The Steelers are taking on their toughest passing offense of the year and its uncertain on how they will hold up. Personally I think the Giants will get just enough points to pull out this win. I say the Giants win 16-10 in a defensive battle.

Are we forgetting the Steelers offensive line issues already?

I think Pittsburgh is a great team, probably the best in the AFC, but this is not a good matchup for them with Parker being out and Holmes having his issues. Steelers have yet to really put on a show on offense and they'll need a lot of it to hold off the Giants defense.

parker is out, so is holmes, mcfadden out is bad too, townsend is not that good. hampton may be back, that will help. I think 'we' can win this if 'we' can contain jacobs and get pressure on eli. I am not sweating Plax, he will get blasted in the teeth one time and be done for the game. He lacks heart, thats one of the reasons we didnt fight for him in FA. I cant call the score, but I think the steelers will win.

I just can't see Pittsburgh holding off that defense missing so many pieces. That said, Hines Ward should have a big game.

Giants defense hasnt gotten me a defense TD all year in fantasy.
a lot of sacks but no TDs come G-men get some Tds.

But i like the giants in this one. by 10 points

Not excited. Too much parody this year. Either of these teams could lose to the Seahawks by 30 next week and I wouldn't be surprised. Which sucks.

all this talk about a super bolw preview is way to premature. and if i hear one more time how plax has a sore neck and might not play I will lose it. he just doesnt want to practice, he is lazy like that.

"From the time he hits the court, he plays at a competitive level that you rarely see," Popovich says. "He does the exact same things that Kobe (Bryant) does, that Michael Jordan did.

I hate the "superbowl preview" as much this year as any year. I really am tired of people saying oh the Cowboys are definitely going to be there or its going to be Giants vs Steelers. ( I am a Cowboys fan to clarify) There is no Patriots this year, or any year except last year which was once in a lifetime, so we will never know who will be playing in the Superbowl until after the championship games.

ecelent game on teh defensive side of the ball for pitt, and an even better one for NYG. that front 4 of the giants is beastly, that and 'our' o-line sucks. great win for the blue crew, pittsburgh nees to get its shit to gether on offense or making the playoffs at all may be an issue.
