Do You Like the Draft Lottery?

So do you like the draft lottery?

Personally, I don't like the idea. To me it makes things to confusing. The point of letting the worst team pick 1st is to try to make them better so that they are more competetive in years to come. Well the draft lottery kinda ruins that because it give the 14th worst team in the NBA a chance to get the 1st pick. I think to make it simple just let the worst team get the 1st pick, 2nd 2nd pick, ect.

On the other side of the arguement thought, it does help the problem of teams losing on purpose to get the 1st draft pick a little.

Huh? You can't have a debate without seeing both sides of the arguement.

I don't completely buy into the legitimacy of the lotto sometimes to be honest, there's no way of proving that its not fixed.

If the Pacers win it, I'll love it. Until they pass on Blake Griffin for Chase Budinger anyway.

I like the idea of the 3 worst teams. It makes it alot more fair IMO than giving the 14th worst team a chance to get the #1 pick. And yes, if they tank and have 2nd or 1st worst record they are still pretty much guaranteed one of the top 5 picks.

you can be 42-42 in the west or a 15-67 east team and both have a shot at the number pick, that isnt right.

Its alright, but things could be made to make it better. The 3 worst teams Idea was good.

Considering it stole Derrick Rose away from us and gave us Michael Beasley...

                    I hate it.

The NBA needs a lottery, ddue to the fact 1 man can change the game completely... this isn't football/baseball where it's a whole team effort, sure it takes a good team to win a championship, but 1 LeBron james / Jordan can you franchise up for winning ways for the next 15 years...

They should make the actual lottery visible to the public so they at least have to work a little harder to fix it.

nobody asked what the celtics would be like without the lottery.....I doubt anyone cares (I sure don't)

anyway lottery is a good thing, stops teams from tanking but there are instances where I think the lottery may be fixed
