NBA is way too inconsistent in how it handles fines/suspensions thats the only thing i know for sure. They almost have to suspend him after the Brad Miller foul at the end of the game 5, and after they suspended Howard for the elbow.

They need to suspend him to be consistent with Howards suspension.

either way Bulls win game 7.

i bet they suspend him for game 7, then he'll appeal it and he gets it pushed back a game so he can play in game 7 and then either be out game 1 of the second series or game 1 of next year.

            This has been done before.

I think that if this was the first incident that Rondo has instigated, then push it to game one next round. However, with two incidents now, David Stern and CO. would catch a lot of flack, if they don't suspend him for game 7.

Whether you think its a flagrant foul or not on Rondo, it doesn't matter at this point. What Rondo did was realize that Miller was going to have an easy basket, so he made it look like he was going for a block (by looking at the ball) while swiping whatever he could reach to affect the shot. Had he looked at Brad Miller and made it apparent he was hitting him in the face on purpose, you'd probably see a fine of some sort.

Meanwhile, Dwight Howard gets into a fight and can't control his emotions, so throws an unnecessary elbow after a play is over.

One player used intelligence, and the other player couldn't handle his emotions. The intelligent person will always get the advantage.

Reggie Miller exemplifies intelligence. You can say how he played was dirty and what Rondo did was dirty, that's fine I won't disagree with it. But he built his whole career on using intelligence to gain an advantage in the game, and now he's going to the hall of fame
Rondos intelligence is up their with the great ones, its funny im watching mike and mike, and not even a mention of rondo maybe getting possibly suspended, I wish I knew how the NBA and ESPN worked, they are so inconsistent

Yeah, he made that post look bad after he threw him into the bench. I'm sure Hinrich was doing shit to piss him off, but you can't sink that low. Either way it was still a brilliant play.

Not sure if "swinging" is a suspension in that case. If they want to suspend him for the throw into the scoreboard, fine. But if Hinrich doesn't bull rush him (not saying he shouldn't have) there's no escalation and its just a flagrant on Rondo.
