I would have voted for Rondo over Granger. I already thought Granger was a stud coming into this season he basically just reaffirmed that belief. This seems more like a "career achievment for improvement" award in regards to Granger rather than a 1 year deal. Similar situation with Kobe's MVP last year.

Thats what Im saying. First Gordon getting snubbed out of all rookie 1st team voting, now Thornton not even getting a single vote.

        1984 Record: 44-38 (9th in west)
        1985 Record: 42-40 (7th in west; 1st round exit)
1986 Record: 51-31 (3rd in west; swept in finals)

The Grizzlies theme this season should be : "This Season, We're Doing It For The Lulz"

It really shouldn't have been as close as it was.. Granger was a star this year.

Bargs only one vote? What are some of these voters thinking? Dwayne Wade? Brandon Roy? Gerald Wallace who actually got WORSE this year? Glenn fucking Davis? Come on. Maybe the worst vote ive ever seen.

Granger would've won MIP in my chise had he not missed a month+ because of injuries.

I think the writers must've actually listened to what Donald Sterling said about Thornton earlier this season.

Those of you that don't know... look it up.
Finally back after a 3 year hiatus!

Thornton was not that impressive to warrant the MIP. I would have chosen D Harris but eh maybe its just my Milwaukee bias.

Too bad Jameer Nelson couldn't stay healthy. Really wanted him to win.

The guy who scored 25.8 ppg, snached 5 boards a game, and 1.5 blocks a game.

He easily deserves this to me. Hes going to be one of the best players in the NBA for a long time to come. He a great shooter, can score inside, can rebounds, and can play pretty solid defense. Hes an offensive beast and can block the rock.

Well deserved but he did pretty well last year as well. Just not nearly as good as he did this season.

                              Coming soon...
