Players Named To All NBA Teams!

Yup, it was all Dirk's fault that Dwayne Wade (1 person) had the same amount of free throws as Dallas (a team) during the NBA Finals. I'm not one to make excuses but anyone could see from a mile away how the refs and the NBA wanted that series to go. There are two series my entire life that I've seen and for sure knew there was something amiss it was the 2006 NBA Finals and the 2002 Western Conference Finals (Lakers vs. Kings).

I'm not responding to either of you guys, I'm just saying in general.

But that's all irrelevant...how exactly does something that happened in 2006 have any bearing on receiving accolades in 2009?

The man just gets NO love. Yeah, not winning a title sucks but imagine fuckin Karl Malone getting this much shit for never winning one. Granted, he had Jordan in his era but still Dirk has consistently been a top 10-15 player in the league going on 6-7 years now and still nobody in the league wants to give him an ounce of credit. I've never seen more bitching and moaning than when he won the MVP.

Didn't exactly help his case for the MVP that year that his team was booted in the 1st Rd by an 8 seed, even though voting takes place before the playoffs. I think most of the bitching you heard was AFTER Dalls laid an egg.

You're right, it has no bearing on him receiving the accolades but it still taints peoples' opinion of him, fairly or not.

EH you know that they look at records, the Raptors were supposed to be better but Bosh did play at a high level. If you look at the forwards all of them had great records but Bosh did not.

Records dont always translate into individual play.. and PP wasnt even the best player on his own team this year. Ray Allen had a tremendous regular season. The "formula" used and the voters are both atrocious IMO.

Lol.. you're missing the point bud. I dont care if neither Ray Allen or PP is on the team, PP doesnt deserve it. Theres plenty of guys who had better seasons than Paul's.
