    Miller interested in Heat

Point guard Andre Miller has interest in the Heat if the 76ers don't keep him, an associate said. But unless he takes the $5 million midlevel exception, that would require a sign and trade -- something Miami would not do if it meant cutting into 2010 salary-cap space.

    Miami Herald

As much as I think Miller would help the team, does he get the start over Chalmers? Chalmers had a solid season and him and Wade were amongst the leagues best in steals by a backcourt duo.

+ Luther Head/Chris Quinn ready to come off the bench.

But I highly doubt Miller is heading back to the Sixers after the falling out they had with him and Ratliff not showing up to the final team meeting.

Good place for Andre. I n mychise it came down to Miami and Detorit for him. He chose Detroit, which resulted in him coming off the bench instead of starting.

    1984 Record: 44-38 (9th in west)
    1985 Record: 42-40 (7th in west; 1st round exit)
1986 Record: 51-31 (3rd in west; swept in finals)

The Grizzlies theme this season should be : "This Season, We're Doing It For The Lulz"

Makes no sense what so ever. Why get him when Chalmers is only going to keep getting better? I personally think Quinn is better then him..

"From the time he hits the court, he plays at a competitive level that you rarely see," Popovich says. "He does the exact same things that Kobe (Bryant) does, that Michael Jordan did.

Quinn shoots threes. Miller is a great defender and playmaker that can make his teammates better.

I don't really like the fit in Miami though, no need for a point guard like Miller when the offense will be run through Wade anyways the majority of the time.

No need for PG in Miami. Chris Quinn blows, but Chalmers is a stud and you don't want to stunt that growth.

Heat need a 3 and some bench.

True. Unless Wades likes off the ball and receiving passes, this backcourt wont work because both of them want the ball in their hands to handle it.

If Miller could shoot the three, maybe...

Uhhh what? Andre Miller >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Chris Quinn and Mario Chalmers, too.

Miller is a legit 2nd tier PG in the NBA, not quite on the level of CP3 and Deron, but hes up there. You even saying Quinn would put up SIMILAR numbers to Andre in the same minutes is beyond retarded. Chris Quinn BLOWS. Glorified spot up shooter who went on a nice run a couple years ago when the Heat had no other options.

He may be 33 but he has improved pretty significantly in the last 2-3 years...but yeah, unless he was willing to come off the bench, I think it would just stunt Chalmers' growth.

I'd much rather have Chalmers and Quinn running the Heat offense alongside Wade then Miller, obviously other people don't see it that way.
