Disappointing Young Players. (Rookies/2nd/3rd year guys)

Who are some of the players on your favorite team, or some players you were looking forward to coming out of college that you are disappointed in?

When this topic is brought up I immediately think of Chad Jackson.

Chad was my favorite player in College that year, and he has done jack squat since he has entered the NFL. Partially because of Belicheck.

He wasnt that good on college he only got drafetd so high ebcause he ran fast at the combine


Matt Lienart is one fo the bigger underachievers but I never thoguht he was real good, just a product of that USC team

Most of mine come from the 2007 draft:

Adam Carriker- Lost in the Rams poor defense.
Jarvis Moss- Had some very subtle years so far.
Leon Hall- Not as good as advertised.
Robert Meachum- Where are you in New Orleans? Note: I know he was injured last year.
Craig Davis- You aren't going to do anything in San Diego

2006 Draft

Vince Young- LOL rookie of the year and you still suck riding the bench.
Vernon Davis- Not as good as you were at Maryland.
Matt Leinart- I bet you miss Pete Carroll
Tye Hill- You're fast but that's about it.
Jonathan Joseph- Another underachieving CB in Cinci.
John McCargo- Wasted pick by the Bills, I think he is in Indy now.

Alex Smith - I was excited to see him turn that team around. What a thought.
Troy Williamson - He was so damn fast - he's in Jax now. Doing Jax-Shit.
Mike Williams - This kid was supposed to be good - Just another WR pick for DET

2006:

Reggie Bush - Never turned as special as many people thought he would
Vince Young - 'Nuff said.
Manny Lawson - Was a beast on Madden, didn't hear much else about him tho.

2007:

JaMarcus Russel - Little early to judge - not much talent around him
Robert Meachem - Was s'posed to be an immediate red zone threat
Craig Davis - I haven't even hear about him outside of Chargers games

Maroney wasn't expected to be great coming out of college and outperfermed everyone's standards his first year. But since, injury prone.
