I wish Warner but he is falling out of the race slowly. We will see how Adrian does but if he carries the Vikings into the playoffs then I think he should get it. These last 2 weeks will tell a lot in the MVP race.

To be honest, it's got to be Peyton - he's beastly out there right now.

AP has got to be close. If he can carry the Vikes to the playoffs, it's gotta be his.

ware should get consideration, but defensive guys dont usually win this. Drew Brees would be in the mix if the team wasnt gonna be 8-8.

Yeah thats true about the defensive players. Im just throwing someone else out there since there doesnt really seem like a clear cut winner as of right now. Yeah it kinda sucks that brees most likely wont win it. I was hoping to buy one of those shirts off NFL.com that says hes the MVP, but it looks like it wont happen.

It's a beauty contest. Matt Ryan won rookie of the week and he threw 2 picks. Although that's a totally different award this is clearly a beauty contest with the media.

I can't say anyone on offense. Demarcus Ware will be the first defensive player to win MVP since LT. 19 sacks so far and he will destroy Jared Gaither tonight. I think he will break the NFL Record for most sacks in one season. The Record is 23.5 so he needs 5 more sacks to break it.

all this AP talk....what bout Turner...he's shown up, helped a team that struggled last year, and with a solid run game to lean on Matt Ryan has gotten it made a lot easier for himself,NOT taking anything away from Ryan...

                              Peterson: 320 att 1581 yds 9 td 6 fum 3 lost

                              Turner: 332 att 1421 yds 15 td 2 fum 1 lost

TD's win games...not always yards...and his O-line is NOWHERE near the all stars on Peterson's
