I don't see how they can add Avant to that list with him being a 4th option.

Yeah I was thinking that too. DeSean, Curtis, Maclin are all clearly options ahead of Avant and then they still have Reggie Brown and they are really high on the other receiver they drafted this year Brandon Gibson. So at the end of the day Avant might be the 6th or 7th option on this team all depending on how Gibson, Brown and Baskett all do this preseason. Plus the Eagles have Cornelius Ingram and Brent Celek as passing options too. I really don't see Jason Avant as a breakout type WR this year.
Throw Mike Walker from the Jaguars on the list who is going to be the number 2 receiver next to Torry Holt this year. In the one game he got to start this year it was against the Steelers and he had 6 catches for 107 yards. So if the O-Line is up to where they should be this year and Walker stays healthy, he is a WR who could have a big year, especially benefiting being on the other side of Torry Holt.

I'd like to see Nate Washington on that list. Dude was impressive when I watched him with the Steelers and he'll be a threat in the Titans offense.

Yeah, good point, Earl Bennett is back with Jay Cutler this year. When they played on the same team in 2005 Bennett had 79 catches and 9 touchdowns. They could end up being a really good combo this year.

I changed the title of the thread. But I think Earl Bennett should have been on that list.

I hope Kirwan is right about Mark Bradley. There's no doubt that he will have the opportunity to get his numbers up, but the question is whether or not he can stay healthy.

I was pissed when the Bears let him go, hopefully he will do well.

                      MATT JONES?!?!?!
"From the time he hits the court, he plays at a competitive level that you rarely see," Popovich says. "He does the exact same things that Kobe (Bryant) does, that Michael Jordan did.

I'll believe Dwayne Jarrett when it happens. Lots of questions about the kids work ethic. Steve Smith's been getting on the guy for not putting in the time since day one. Entering season 3, I haven't heard of any new found confidence in him. If he did "break out" it would greatly help since Carolina desperately needs another option in the passing game. But, um..when did the Panthers get a new look offense?
