It's definitely time. Can't wait to see how he reacts when its time to discuss a dirty hit.

Hard hitting son of a bitch, i'll give him that

Never really liked him, yet i could see why people do.

Does this mean Merriwether (sp?) and Chung will be starting?

Damn straight, the once old and slow Pats D has gotten a lot younger pretty quickly.

Here's hoping the young cats get some well-needed advice from those still kicking around on the team.

Nothing worse than trying to get by on talent alone in the league, only to come up short in a playoff game because a receiver shook you out of your shoes... (i.e., anything Jerry Rice did to rookie DBs coming into the NFL).

I am pretty sure the starters will be Sanders and Merriweather. I think Chung was probably drafted for depth and to be a future starter.

Is acting like that really necessary?

First of all i said "probably" and "pretty sure" and second rookies on the defensive side of the ball don't usually don't become full-time starters immediately if they don't have to under bilicheck.

that is true but I dont think he is going to be Bradndon Meriweather V2 where he didnt get on the field at all his rookie season. They will have a good rotation between Meriweather, Sanders, Chung, and occasionally Tank Williams who is a S/LB

Yeah, not saying he has no chance because obviously if he outplays James Sanders and the coaching staff is comfortable with him starting then obviously he will be.

lol... you got to understand that while aso can type a 50 word post about the NFL, he actually knows only what he has seen on TV about it. I am glad harrison is done, he was a cheap shot cocksucker.

Teddy Bruschi and Mike Vravel are my favorite linebackers of all time...

not to mention I have a complete man crush on Kevin Faulk, and honestly believe he is THE most underrated runningback in the NFL.
