You can't tell him he needs to be mature about it when there are 10 year veterans doing the same thing.

Brian Dawkins started bawling like a baby in 2007 when he had that neck injury early in the season.

It's an emotional sport, I remember myself, after I tore my labrum for the 3rd time and realized that football was over for me, for the rest of my life... I cried like I was a kid all over again.

if anything, it's good that he cried (assuming its frustration over it being injury related). means that he obviously wants to be great at what he's trying to do, and the fact that his leg might be holding him back is emotionally painful for him.

Why would anyone even think this a big deal?

Singletary continues to look like a big hardass amongst the NFL. This guy needs to realize he's coaching full grown men, not high schoolers. Sure, it worked last year with Vernon being a big ass baby because he sucks and doesn't play up tot he potential of the whaT? Number 5 pick? But these "hardass" and "I'm the shit"antics will eventually catch up with him and he'll look like a clown.

That will be true in time, but right now the 49ers are crap so Singletary can get away with it. Singletary is a great coach for the 49ers right now because he is perfect for rebuilding them and getting them to the next level. I don't think he has what it takes to win a Super Bowl but for the time being he is exactly what the 49ers need.
