    NFC East: Review and Preview

The NFC East, or NFC "Beast" as it was recently referred to as, has four quality teams that pose a threat to make a deep run in the playoffs year in and year out. The New York Giants thrive on being the underdog...

Fairly long. Let me know what you guys think

for one.. I wrote the article

I based this off of looking at the schedule. Dallas still has a talented team and I see them going 10-6, 11-5.

I also said it is possible they could.

So you want to wait until what, week 7 or 8 to see if there is any consistency and chemistry before predicting how they will finish? lmao

what do you see them going? I gave everyone a 3-3 record within the division.

I can see Philly losing to Carolina, San Diego, Chicago, Atlanta, as well as 3 losses within the division. That makes you 9-7

and lol at not caring about the loss of Dawkins. It is going to obviously hurt you more than you think

eagles team goes as far as westbrook. westbrook is banged up and aging so 9-7 seems quite fair...it's not mcnabbs team like everyone on the network wants you to believe...

Nice write up, I think Deangelo Hall will surprise people this year though. He played alot better for the Skins, then he did with the Raiders. D. Hall is a man to man corner and the Raiders had him in zone most of the time. I think last year humble him and he will be a top tier corner again this year.

maybe but he just got paid with a nice, huge contract when he didn't play that well. That might and probably won't transfer over to him playing great.

Good write-up. I would have the Giants and Eagles finishing above Dallas, just because I think those two teams are more fundamentally sound and IMO Coughlin and Reid are two of the best coaches in the league. But as someone said, the Eagles are incredibly dependent on Westbrook, and if he is nicked up they might stagnate on offense. I don't think the Giants will miss Plaxico, but they might miss Steve Spagnulo.

The Cowboys will definitely miss Terrell Owens. Roy Williams looked lost last season...I don't think he can step up his game. I guess we'll see how good Tony Romo really is (I think he's above-average, but nothing special).

The Redskins are a mess, as usual.

I don't think it's a huge loss. There are two guys I think will pick up the slack, one of whom nobody is talking about.

I do agree with Reid and Coughlin being two of the best coaches in the league but yea Philly might have gotten better but if Westbrook gets hurt they can get in trouble. I just don't know how much Mccoy is going to be able to do even though the Philly fans seem to think he can be some sort of God.

Dallas will miss TO no doubt but what team wouldn't? If Roy can play like the #1 receiver that Jones feels he can be then Dallas should be fine. We also have Witten who imo is our #1. It really will rest on Jason Garrett's play calling. If he decides he wants to air it out all the time no matter what is going on (a la when Brad Johnson was QB) then Dallas will get themselves into trouble. If he finally realizes that we have a fantastic group of RBs then we should be able to control the game. As mentioned before we have great RBs and we have a run-blocking line. We do not have a pass blocking line. Our guys are too big and too slow to be able to hold off quick DEs all game long. (see Giants/Philly)

Giants will not miss Plax but that is only if Nicks is a stud. Eli needs a big WR who can go up and get the ball imo.

And the eagles Do count on westbrook a lot, but he was banged up a lot of last year and they still made the NFCCG. If mccoy cant do it, weaver can possibly come in and help out. Westbrook had his two best years when shawn andrews was healthy and good. He is back so that helps a lot.

And I would put dallas above the giants. Dallas lost TO ok big deal, Giants lost plax, ward, and toomer.

loseing a 1000 yrd back is pretty big. the giants ovb struggled w/ out plax. hakeem and ramsy wont be that dominate right away.
That and Eli is your classic chuck and pray passer.

Makes me sick the way ppl dickride him after what happened 2 years ago.

after this year it'll be back to callin for that guy's head and questioning his future with the team.

So because I picked Dallas to win the division by one game with an 11-5 record I lost you. Glad to see you still read the article.

Well, that's a big "if". You saw what happened when Eli didn't have his reliable big target.
