i really like the radiers chances this season
They improve the pass rush with Greg Ellis, Him and Burgess should creat havoc with Trevor Scott rotating in. They have a great linebacking core and we all know about there secondary. They can survive on offence with there running game as they ahve 3 backs that can do the business
Give Bush 10 carries, DMC 12 carries and Fagas 5 carries all behind Neal and they do some damage. Russell is behind a much better offensive line and has a true deep threat and a safety blanket in Miller. I only see weaknesses in Oakland at WR, NT and S. I truly believe they can contest SD for the title of the AFC west
I think they surprise people and win atleast 7 games. I think they will win about 8

I agree with everything you said except for the fact that QB is also a weakness right now until proven other wise.
DTs are soft, Kelly and Sands have been terrible against the run. We need a dominant run stopper in the middle. Safety is obviously a huge hole right now, Michael Huff not panning out really hurt us.
Success will be determined by JR's play, though. Raiders had a top 10 running game last season even but it didn't matter because the defense and JR were useless. I believe the defense is better this season but they will have to prove that first , especially against the run. Same with JR, he doesn't need to be spectacular, but he needs to be good.Comment
