If you were to start a NFL Franchise...

Which active NFL player would you choose to start your team, and why?

hard one... If it was defensive....prob Mario Williams, you need a pass rush and theres no limit to his ability he can get better and better

offensively...Westbrook....maybe Deangelo Williams or Michael Turner, I wouldnt go QB

You get to choose any player you want to start your team around. You would have an expansion draft.

But if i had to choose any player it would be either Demarcus Ware or whoever you think the best OT is.

I'd take either Adrian Peterson or Maurice Jones Drew. I believe a team should always establish the running game first and the passing game will free itself up.

Matt Ryan. Young, talented and in a position which gives you a long career.

World class Quarterbacking is the greatest thing you can get. Other positions such as finding a great blindside tackle are certainly rarer to find but they are easier to substitute.

Would never take a running back as they are a dime a dozen and their careers are so short. You'd end up wasting the best years of Peterson's career trying to build around him.

If for some reason I wasn't allowed to take someone on the offensive side of the ball ... I would take Patrick Willis providing I also get Singletary to coach him for a few more seasons. :D

Well when Champ Bailey was in his prime and considered the best CB in the league, Denver's defense still struggled, most years.

Now Oakland's defense is struggling despite having the best CB in the league.
