Best Division In The NFL

Titans allowed almost triple the rushing yards and double the passing yards with Haynseworth out of the lineup last 2-3 years.
Ask the Chargers if losing Merriman didnt hurt , or NYG losing Usi.
You dont lose that level of DL and not suffer.
The plus side is Ten does have alot of depth. But thinking they wont miss a beat is a bit of a stretch.
The only reason I dont think theyll have a massive decline is because Jeff Fishers a damn good coach. He always has the defense and team prepared.
I don't think that the Titans are going to be 13-3 like last year; that probably won't happen, especially with Peyton and Indy at full strength and an improved Houston squad in their division. But to dismiss them as Super Bowl contenders like some people do on here, just cause they lost the best player on the deepest position the team has, is stupid.

I know that position isn't about only sacks. Albert was great at what he did, whenever he played. There were times where he would come out because of injuries and such last year and the defense held up alright.
Unlike the Chargers and the Giants, the Titans more of the depth at that position that they shouldn't have to worry about that. They'll suffer a little bit, but I just don't think they'll suffer as much as everyone thinks they will. People are saying "oh, Tennessee's done without Albert. Houston's passing them and getting a playoff spot, blah, blah." Even though the defensive passing and rushing yard totals will go up a little bit, their passing game has improved a little bit with the acquistions of Nate Washington and Kenny Britt, which will put a little less pressure on that defense.
Exactly. Fisher is one of the best coaches in the league and always can get the best out of his players.

The NFC East is ridiculously overrated. The Giants are the only top-tier team in the division, and the Redskins are terrible.
The AFC South is the best bet at this point, but if everyone lives up to potential, the AFC East could be damn good. The NFC South is the sleeper, as I think Carolina could surprise and Atlanta's new firepower is pretty impressive, but Tampa will be terrible.
Most competitive is NFC West. Seattle should return to form, as they finally have a legit WR instead of a bunch of random guys thrown in there. Arizona is going to be a better team with Beanie Wells in the mix and planning for 3 Pro Bowl type receivers from the get go, not to mention an improved DRC. The 49ers should be a 9-7 team, but could pull off some upsets and make the division very interesting. St. Louis is terrible and will continue to be terrible.S.P.Q.A.

Well if Jamarcus Russell learns to finally throw the ball, they have a great young WR core that could do wonders. McFadden/Fargas are actually one of the best 1-2 punches in the NFL if McFadden lives up to his expectations. Asumugha or something should single handedly control the passing game, all they need to do is improve run D, and they have a chance at actually being over .500. Denver has one of the best passing games in the NFL and if Orton can play the way he did for the early part of the season last year with that pathetic WR group Chicago has, imagine what he could do with good WRs. Hillis and Moreno are very young raw talent who could burst out at any time. Hillis has already showed everyone that he just cant be tackled and Moreno is already the leading candidate for OROTY. Yes, their defense is a bit shaky, but if Bailey can stay healthy, he can help that terrible secondary that Denver has. Dawkins also helps, being one of the premier safeties in the past few years, yes i just said that. If Marshall can stop dropping balls, and Royal and Scheffler improve the Broncos could actually win the division........lol, no they can't because the chargers are going to go 16-0, but they can still go somewhere near "10-6" if every1 can live up to their potential. If Matt Cassel...Larry Johnson...Dwyane Bowe...Tyler Thigpen....Chiefs are screwed. Last, but certainly not least, everybody here probably knows how LT will win virtually every award out there(mvp, opoty, cpoty, rboty, sbmvp) and lead the Chargers to an undefeated record all season long, including the playoffs. So yeah...16-0+10-6+8-8+0-16=34-30 which is a pretty damn good record for a division with the chiefs. lol, just my 2 centsLast edited by OKCL; 06-27-2009, 09:56 PM.
