It's tough to say. They are in a very weird position right now thanks to a shitty division and a few players coming out of nowhere.

The emergence or reemergence of Scott Podsednik has left them in a weird spot and the fact that they are still in the division running makes me believe they'll just kinda stand pat, or as Kenny has shown during his tenure, look for them to at least make a deal to shore up their bullpen or even another bat off the bench.

The problem with the sox though is they definitely don't have many tradeable pieces outside of Jenks and Dye. Nobody wants Colon, Contreras, Thome, Getz or Konerko.

I think the White Sox should make a time machine, go back and get Babe Ruth and trade the '27 Yankees Jermaine Dye for him. Then they should cut Bartolo Colon, and go back and sign a young Satchel Paige out of the Negro Leagues.

The Sox are pretty much stuck. The Peavy thing was a desperate team trying to unload payroll, not many other teams are looking to unload their ace this year.

Likewise the sox have nothing of value right now. Jenks and Dye are about it, Beckham is and should be untouchable and we're just now trying to get our farm system back in order so it's still a work in progress.

Kenny will make a few little moves as he always does but we aren't acquiring a big bat and an ace pitcher.

Haha... I'm a huge Sox fan and a partial season-ticket holder.

Deals don't just happen out of nowhere, there needs to be value on the team trading and room in the budget. I don't think the Sox have either of that at this point.
