If Favre wants to play and a team is gonna let him then by all means let the guy play. Forcing someone into retirement is dumb. Favre never really wanted to be a N.Y. Jet. Since he retired from G.B the only team he has really wanted to play for is the Vikings. I personally think he will excel in the dome that Minnesota plays in. He will sling that ball around like 2-3 seasons ago without the cold weather in the winter. You know what your getting with Favre, it's not like it's gonna be a surprise. He's gonna make some crazy plays that will leave you with your jaw dropped and then he's gonna make some plays where he's just gonna cost you guys the game.

His results in the dome should be interesting. Historically he has struggled in the Humpty and most other domes for that matter. However he ended his career playing well in the Humpty dome.

Sad that this had to happen but I don't really care anymore. If he wants to play and the Vikings want him, let him play. He should expect to be treated as a bitter rival though when he shows up in GB for their game this year. I still pulled for Favre as a Jet. Not anymore. I will now wish the same thing upon him that I wish upon any Vikings player which is pretty much horrible evil things.

Quite a few athletes retire and un-retire. Some just need a break to relax and come back. These pro athletes have been playing this sport for their whole entire lifes. If they wanna retire then have a change of heart to play the game they love again then let them. Don't get me wrong I think Favre loves the media and is an attention whore too but to say a guy isn't allowed to retire than have a change of heart is just ignorant. I guess M.J. should have never made his first or second comeback to the NBA.
