Yea this would be big news and I still don't see it on ESPN

^Strange, isn't it? I wonder why that is.. It honestly has me extremely confused.

I think a lot of the reason you guys aren't seeing it everywhere is the Favre is avoiding the spotlight as much as possible. ESPN is just as much to blame as Brett for the 24x7 coverage over his every move over the past couple of years. The thing I noticed about the only interview I have seen him give recently was that it took an ESPN reporter that had been living at his front gate for almost 10 days to even get him to talk because Brett had been leaving out the back of his property to avoid media attention (Brett was very short with him as well...kind of like leave me alone). He has been throwing the ball with Oak Grove High School again trying to get his arm in shape but no cameras are being allowed on the school grounds.

At least in my opinion, Favre is as sick of ESPN's focus on his every move as most everyone else is these days.

I believe his mind was made up when he agreed to have surgery for something that would have healed naturally over the course of the next year or so. Favre nor Cook have made themselves available for any media interviews so I don't agree that he is trying to milk it like he did last year speaking to everybody with a microphone (even Greta on Fox News for God's sake).

I kind of agree with you I just wish he would make up his mind. He may not be milking it but I highly doubt he is bothered by the attention..

Why would he mind the attention? I'd love it if everyone cared if i played or not, that comes with the legacy he has.

I didn't really want Brett to come back but it's his career and he still wants to play so I will live with it. What are you basing the choke artist blast on? Don't really think statistics would bear you out on that one.

Football is a very emotional game. Can't blame the fans for getting too wrapped up in it when it involves one of the biggest names ever in the franchise or the league.

Why? Because all it's done is make him look worse and worse in the publics eye. Even Packers fans who considered this guy a GOD are turning on him.

It would be similar to Peyton Manning doing this shit. I can't ever imagine hating him, but that's how far Brett has taken it.
