    I have a question...

If Matt Ryan, or Joe Flacco lose in the playoffs without winning a game are people going to bust their balls too, saying they can't win a big game?

    I'm just wondering.

Don't bring that rookie shit to, cuz most of you people know what I'm implying, and when he lost to Seattle he only had 10 starts under his belt.

I don't want another Romo thread. I just want the question answered.

Ugh No, they're rookies. The difference with Romo is that he's been in the league already and actually practiced with actual NFL players. Ryans and Flacco's are rookies, but Romo was basically a vet.

..and I'm pretty sure they hyped the Cowboys that year anyways.

I wouldn't. Jerry Jones puts way too much pressure on his team by always having them in the spotlight, so one slip up is disaster for Dallas. It doesn't matter how young you are or how good you're supposed to be. Jerry Jones has put a giant weight on the Dallas organization, so it's impossible for the players to be viewed like everyone else. They're supposed to be "the best".

As for the other two, they're both driven individuals with driven coaches, and they understand talk is talk and actions speak louder than words. Falling short is a possibility, but their egos didn't set them up to get eaten alive by the media. Now if they continue to collapse in the post-season, then definitely. But this time, they have a free pass.

Yeah, but I had to hear it in his first year. Coming from a Quarterback who was undrafted, and had no expectations.

Romo took a lot of shit after only the first year though. I think it's only fair that Ryan and Flacco be treated the same way but I doubt they will.

People look for ways to hate on dallas mroe than any other team , and now its the dallas qb its like a chance to double hate.

the difference is that flacco took over a 4-12 team and ryan came in to help rescue a franchise from the vick incident. The Ravens and the Falcons were not expected to make the super bowl and Romo was. fair or not, that is the price to pay for being the qb on that dallas team.
