He still managed to get 1,000+ yards in the worst Colts offense in recent history

No run game , no oline , a banged up qb for the first 5weeks

Somebody who consistently is over 1,000 yards is a top 10 wr . Wayne still made probably the most important clutch catch of the season when he caught a one handed pass against Houston in the dying minutes to win . We lose that game and our season is OVER

If you watched Indy you would know that Dallas Clark is the go to guy .

Yes Peyton could do things. Very rarely could he do anything downfield, which is what I said in the first place if you care to read it again. We had to scratch and claw for every point we got, very few big plays or opportunities for Reggie to do much of anything other than short-intermediate catches.

Things will be different this season.

Exactly , thats what made Peyton`s season so good last season . He had to basicly re-define most of it half way through the season . Still the same general look but the passing options and routes changed alot

The 1000 yards isnt that big a deal anymore, plus I would hope if your any good you would get 1000 yards every year with the best QB in the NFL. What Im just saying is he disappeared. I think the guys good but hes not top 10 if hes the #1 WR on your team.

Thats why only 9 people had a better season in the NFL last season yards wise?

Our offense wasnt the Colts of old at all .

Lets be honest , even with Peyton the offense was 13th ranked for Points scored . Its hard to complete a deep pass to Wayne when 3 rookie olinemen are letting the pass rush through before he can even get deep

He still got over 1,100 yards and 5tds while making probably the most clutch catch of the season

hes top 10 but i just am not convinced he can be a one man show at receiver like he had to be last year

He also got 1,500 yards and 10 tds the season before as the number 1 wr . Marvin played 4-5weeks in that season and was never the full number one .

Wayne had probably his worst season because of the offensive struggles around him and still managed good numbers .

Dont talk like this was his first season as the number 1 wideout for us

What about the season before where he got 1,500 yards? No he cant be a one man show but who can?

Calvin is the only wr in the top 10 who is currently doing a one man show . (Maybe White i guess)

Even Randy has Welker underneath eating up catches

Im just waiting for Buzzman to acknowledge that this wasnt Wayne`s first season as our number one wr

In his first Legit season at number 1 wideout he was 2nd in most major stats to a record breaking season by Randy Moss

Um you said he can't be a one man show, even though he was 2 years ago. Marvin was out the entire season basically and Anthony was nothing special.

He had just as good of numbers as Steve Smith and CJ. Granted he plays with a better QB but can't penalize him for that.

                                Makes sense ...
what you are not getting is that im not saying it is a huge not against his game, thats buzzman. hes not a one man show type of receiver and thats okay, most guys arent. i just said that he isnt capable of having the whole receiving load put on him. he needs someone else besides Clark.
