Because Roddy White is overrated. He plays against shit defenses all year long.

Holmes only had 2 catches for 25 yards in the first playoff game. While, White had 11 catches 84 yards and a TD his only game.
Holmes actually had 3 for 30 which isn't real strong, except for the fact that the Steelers ran the ball well, and he made the most clutch play of the game, and the playoffs with a huge punt return to spark the Steelers. Something he did all season. Make huge clutch plays when needed. I'm glad White was able to average 7.2 yards a catch against a mediocre Cardinals defense.

You really can't use that comeback unless it was Atlanta/Pitt in the SB.
    I can actually.

He is matched up against Ronde Barber twice a year. Which isn't as easy as it sounds.

who the fuck was holmes before the sb. hell..still who the fuck is holmes..hes not even a top 15 receiver.

Wow, 11 catches for a 7.2 average. Half of his regular season numbers, against the 19th ranked defense in the league. A defense only ranked that high because their conference is shit.

Who was Holmes? The same guy who made clutch catches and returns all year long. The same guy who sparked the offense in the win over the Cowboys, same guy who caught the game winner against the Ravens, same guy who knocked the Bengals out of the playoffs a couple of years ago.

That would have meant something two years ago.

Lmao @ only performing in 1-4 games. Holmes was clutch all year. He doesn't put up huge numbers like White because he plays against real nfl defenses. Last year he went against 4 of the top 5 defenses in the league, the Steelers were the other. He went against 8 of the top 12 defenses, again 8 of the top 11 if you don't count the Steelers defense.

Add into that he plays on a run first team, a hall of fame WR, a Pro Bowl TE, and a QB who took the most sacks in the league and that's a lot of balls that aren't coming his way.

Yeah, 3 teams in the top 10 defenses, the Panthers at 18, the rest 20 or below. Including the #30, and 31 ranked defenses. The rams at 28.

                    Like I said. Shit defenses.
