I bet you get bored showing how fucking retarded you are eh? Im somehow shocked, because you seem to enjoy doing this on the regular.

Im making it sound like exactly what im saying, he started 2 games. Steelers young LBers are groomed by playing select downs and sitos and then turned into starters. Again, something they've been doing for years. Did James Harrison reach his full-potential when he first became a starter? The same guy you're hyping up right now for winning DOPY.. his potentiel was fulfilled after starting 2 games? How can someone whos never been a full-time starter have fulfilled his potential? Your exact words fool. The dude is full of potential, he hasnt even tapped it yet.

Steeljake said that Timmons is proven and not a "potential" guy and Kuzzy said hes not

Throw in some insults and a few facts and thats about it

On that point , im not sure how a guy whos started 2 games cant be a potential player? Certainly not proven

hes proven because hes part of the steelers rotation, and in that rotation hes produced. Hes the main reason the steelers released farrior and are comfortable with it. Hes getting up there in age, but they wouldnt release him with confidence if they didnt feel as though they didnt have anyone to replace him.

78 tackles, 5 sacks, 3 pd, and 1 int isnt bad for a rotation guy who came in the league as an OLB, and made the switch to an inside lb in the 3-4.

Noone is saying Timmons wont be a good player, or that he has the POTENTIAL to be one, but he still has much to prove. Playing well in spot duty and as a rotational LBer is nowhere near reaching your potential.

Damn lol I've read the arguing. I honestly believe that Ware makes other people on that Defense better. Ellis got comeback player of the year becuz of Ware. Now as far as Ware being "absent" the last 2 games. You have to look at who they played. Every player has an off game, but they played against the Ravens... Ravens=Ball/Clock Control, Run/Pass% = 70/30. Plus by that time Ware was being tripled teamed. When an outside guy is being triple teamed it would seem the other OLB would get in but the Ravens ran straight up the middle.

The Eagles: I mean hell, he was tripled teamed and almost got McNabb a few times but he'd throw it away before he got tackled. On Team wise Ware was applying pressure... But in the Stat books, he was "absent."

I honestly think Ware is better than Harrison but that can be for another thread.

                  -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now on another note: Do you all think it makes a difference rather a team runs a 3-4, 4-3, or a 4-6? Because if you're comparing a 3-4 defense to a 4-3 defense there's a odd man out.

better passrusher yes, but better overall lb no. They are close though. Arguably 1.a and 1.b.

On another note. Ware is VERY underrated as a run stopper. Teams really struggle to one to his side, and I see him making alot of TFLs...and just blowing up plays in the backfield, forcing runningbacks to go otherwise. Rarely do I hear people praise ware for his presence in stopping the run.

i disagree. He may have a great o line but you cant take away how good of a runner he is. He has good vision and runs with more power and toughness than expected considering his size and skillset. Point blank hes a good runner. i wouldnt say he had his success strictly because of the guys that were blocking for him.

this makes my point about why dallas shluldnt be on a list. if you have one guy who takes 3 people to stop, then someone has to come free. it is simple math. when ware got tripled, the front 7 looked like shit. when harrison gets tripled, woodley, farrior and foote/timmons are on that ass. also the steelers front 3 is better but thats a whole other deal. man i hate dallas.

Leroy Hill+Tatupu+Curry= DAMN good group of LBs.

I like to think ours will surprise a few(Matthews, Barnett, Hawk, Kampman)...but who knows how this 3-4 switch will play out.

no one said they weremt good, but do the seahawks line backers rate a top 5 spot (i am not talking about madden rankings. anyone using madden ratings to make a top 5 or whatever list needs to be hit repeatedly with the ban hammer).
