This season just depends on if Andy Reid can have an equal balance with run and pass, because usually its 65 pass, 30 run and that usually calls for bad things. Andy needs to split the carries between Westbrook and McCoy and that will open the pass game up a lot more for McNabb to succeed. The Offensive line looks like once again it could be one of the tops in the league, and the defense added a key component with Sean Jones. I agree that they will win the NFC East, but it depends on if they can balance out the offense and if the young receivers can produce at a high level.

It all hinges on Westbrook's health.
Of course he's also turning 30 ... a bad number for any RB.

eagles all the way this year. the free agent losses (dawkins, runyan, tra thomas) scared me at the beginning of the offseason, but now i'm confident in philadelphia's o-line because of the jason peters acquisition. even without dawkins, the eagles secondary is secure in my opinion because of asante samuel, ellis hobbs, quintin mikell, and even an up and coming joselio hanson.

the offense is still very capable. mcnabb is streaky as we all know, but his receivers (desean jackson, jeremy maclin, jason avant) are now good enough for mcnabb to work with. westbrook has injury problems, but he's still the superb back everyone knows he is, and the rookie lesean mccoy is explosive enough to fill in if westbrook is sidelined.

if andy reid balances his pass-run ratio and jim johnson is healthy by the season, the eagles should be dominant once again.

He hasn't done it for the past 10 years, why would he start now?
If Reid had his way, they'd never run the ball and would run Florida's spread offence.

agreed. reid's job is getting less and less secure though. i think he'll start to give in to the run-pass ratio. basically i dont think they'll be 70% pass 30% run anymore, eagles fans will be satisfied if its around 60-40.

That man is Quintin Demps with his 4.39 speed. I am really rooting for this guy! I feel that he is gonna surprise at free safety.

The only thing that still worries me is that we just won't pick up another power back. Why don't the Eagles make sure 100% that Dmac has a running game? Year after year it's the same shit. I like Westbrook, McCoy, and Weaver, but Weaver is the fullback. Westbrook and McCoy are the basically the same guy. With that being said, they should have developed Tony Hunt or drafted a guys like Shonn Green from Iowa. Lorenzo Booker is a wasted roster spot at this point. If they keep Kyle Eckel that would mean Weaver will be the power back in certain situations with Eckel at the fullback spot.
