It probably has less to do with her intelligence in more to do with her apathy in the entire situation. McNair probably had a history of cheating and Mrs. McNair probably felt she couldn't control him. I'm sure neither McNair or Mrs. McNair expect "Jenny" to be some crazy who would kill. Your disdain for McNair has been pretty obvious in this thread. I get it, I feel the same way with all the Jacko coverage on TV. There was plenty of talk about McNair while he was playing, he won a MVP for goodness sake. He played in a small market and was overlooked by the media for years though. He was the only player ive ever watched where "numbers werent everything" was a valid argument to me. He played with Eddie George pounding the ball and eating clock but Steve always made the big play when you needed it.

Ive saw you say other guys played hurt so what? Really? There are other guys in the NFL who didnt practice at all for six weeks at a time, but willed themselves to play in every game in that six week span? Name another quarterback in the league who never took credit for the victories but was ALWAYS standing tall in a press conference willing to take the heat for a loss. Dont get me wrong i wasnt always the biggest McNair fan while he was here but he was the ultimate professional. He had a rep to some as a "black qb" who was a scrambler but that was far from the truth. He just ran when absolutely necessary. He is Tim Tebow pre Tebow. He could throw the ball downfield but if he took off running he wanted to punish the defense. He ran like a fullback. He had great pocket presence. He wasnt a vocal leader but he would get in the huddle and just smile and say we're going to win. He motivated his teammates by example not me first braggadocio nonsense like so many other NFL players.



If the media can overlook drug riddled pedophile allegations for Michael Jackson, why are they having such a hard time doing the same for an adulterer. This adulterer cheated with adult females. I dont think Steve McNair was perfect, there were times he pissed me off to no end but the titans were obviously very much a better team and organization for the time he was in TN.
