The NFL will not permit players to post Twitter updates during games.

NFL spokesman Greg Aiello advised ProFootballTalk of the league's position.

"We already have a rule that prohibits the use of cell phones or other handheld devices in the bench area during games," Aiello told us via e-mail

So CJ will have someone type them for him?

Duh. It's not fucking rocket science. He'll have some PR guy on the sidelines that he shouts 'tweets' over to and that guy will take care of it.

You have no clue what it is to be a part of a football team, do you? I don't care how good he is, I catch a player on my sidelines texting or fucking around on twitter while a game is being played, they'll be hitting the showers, no questions asked, and we'd have a long conversation about his future with the team after that.

It ain't basketball, where if you're talented enough you can throw your shorts onto the court and win all by yourself.
