Davis would be smart to tag Asomugha. That being said, I'm sure he won't. Instead he'll probably let him test free agency and be off to another team, which is good for the NFL, but bad for the Raiders.

Why would he do that? To help the NFL and make his team worse?

He keeps the players who preform (Kirk Morrison, Nnamdi, Ronald Curry, Derrick Burgess) all around and rewards people who he thinks will do good (Tommy Kelly), he just cuts people who don't perform, sometimes not even giving them a chance. So I think he will try his best to get Nnamdi back and get rid of Javon.

If they tag him with the exclusive tag though i don't think anyone can make an offer for him.

A team with so much tied up into CHamp Bailey and Dre Bly should trade two firsts for another cb? Broncos would eat their cap space alive with one position if they did that.
