Sheldon Brown is a good, solid corner but he's not top 10 imo because he doesn't make enough plays - he's only got 14 INTs in 112 career regular season games. The thing that seperates guys like Bailey, Asomugha, Woodson, Samuel, Revis etc from guys like Brown is they simply make more plays.

By your theory then Asomugha shouldnt be top 10.
He has had only like 1 interception the last 2 years.

Thats less than Brown had in the past year.

Playmakers get the recognition but they arent the better players in every instance

P.S. Dont think im hating on Aso. i like him and hes easy the best corner in the league

Asomugha just doesn't get the ball thrown to his side. Period.

If he had the chances he would be up there in the league leaders for INTs. The guy can hawk just as well as he can lockdown.

thats right, teams dont throw his way but teams rarely through to brown either
He is very underated and a lockdown corner in this league
