hmmm... guys do this all time, yes that is true, but what happens to them the year they come in that fat? especailly a running back. isnt one of tunrer's asset's his speed? i wouldnt be concerned now, but if he cant at least drop 15 or 20 pounds before the end of preseason it could ba an issue. all that extra weight cant be good for his knees. were is champ so we can ask him how his nknees do under all that weight...

lmao.
Let's hope Turner gets back in shape. 256 is not "Burner" weight. It doesn't matter how many people you can run through if you can't drag your own ass up the field.
This is sort of ridiculous. lol. Oh well, it's not the biggest controversy this offseason.Comment

Not good news at all, but he'll slim down.
IIRC, wasn't his weight a big reason Michael Turner fell in the draft?

Guys routinely gain 15-20 pounds in the offseason because they want to bulk up and put on as much strength and size as they can.
As long as he is still running sprints while he gains weight he'll be fine because he will lose 10-15 pounds over the course of the season alone.
Offseason = bulk. In season = cut.Comment

Michael needs to lay off the Krispy Kremes.
