He should have waited a few days until he talked to Goodell or heard when hes going to get reinstated.

No one is saying he committed a crime or did anything wrong. We are saying that his timing is INCREDIBLY STUPID. He didn't have to wait very long before his appointment with the NFL Commish to talk about his reinstatement.

It makes me question how smart the guy is and whether he is really serious about wanting to make it back into the NFL.

If true, the optics are all wrong.

I agree, there's nothing illegal about going to a strip club, but it just is the wrong message to send out.

Of course, Vick probably has the intelligence of a Grade 7 student, so he can't really be blamed.

Yeah. Mike Vick will never be accused of being ''wickedly intelligent.''

Most people in the NFL have gone to strip clubs. I wouldn't put it past me if Roger Goodell has done it either.

I don't see how this is stupid. He's over 21 and if he had ID, he's allowed there. He didn't do anything stupid. What's the problem? I smell a bunch of people with their "moral values" panties on too tight.

To be fair, I don't think anyone would think he is all that brilliant after throwing away a huge NFL contract so that he could watch some dogs kill eachother.

                      We have a ruling;

Re-instatement next week with a suspension for the first 4 weeks of the season.

I thought that was what was gonna happen anyway, strip club or no strip club.

I say he signs with New Orleans.

I could see him going to Dallas or Jacksonville. Maybe Minnesota if Favre doesn't come back.

I'd put any money that Jerry Jones hangs up the phone if he calls.

There's no way in hell we're signing Vick.

                              Dumb move.
So, metaphorically speaking, our physiology basically has the universe mapped out and you're thinking it needs to be taught addition & subtraction.

See, I understand what you are saying, but all it takes is another person to start trouble which would then reflect terribly on Vick.

And Rayman, do you really think the Cowboys have a 0 chance of signing him? I know JJ loves publicity, good or bad. Hell, he even said last year that all the negative talking about TO added publicity to the Cowboys. I just think that with the new stadium opening, more publicity will fill seats, plus, people (me included) still want to watch Vick play.
                                RIP HK, JJ
