Surprising Training Camp Cuts

as i was perusing the Patriots website i saw an interesting debate topic. The most notable veterans to get cut from the squad this year during training camp. It happens every year, those veterans who have become at least household names for the diehards are cut, seemingly ending their football career. No one knows exactly what happened to make them such a hideous pick up, but it happens. Reminds me somewhat of Rosevelt Colvin when he got cut from New England.

Any who, i was wondering if there are any veterans who you could see being cut from your team's roster. From New England i could definitely see Ben Watson being cut. We picked up Alex Smith and Chris Baker, and we still have David Thomas. Watson is definitely someone who has underachieved. One of those athletic specimen that really isn't skilled at all.

Yeah, unfortunately. With the drafting of Javon Ringer and Rafael Little coming off injury, I don't see Henry being in Titans blue much longer.

I honestly couldn't begin to tell you who could get cut. I just don't see anyone getting cut. Maybe MAtt Roth WOULD BE THE MOST SURPRISING (had to add this in so people word understand)

Boys cut most everyone already. Id really have to take a long look to see whod be eligible for suckage cuts.

The most surprising move was when Philadelphia cut Jerimiah Trotter. Everyone thought he would be the starting middle linebacker for the Eagles that year but ending up being cut, going to the Bucs and pretty much died out.
I don't think the Jaguars will cut any big veteran names this year, we've already done our fair share of cuts.

No way he is one of the best OLB when it comes to setting the edge and is borderline dominant against the run and Miami is looking to give him a new contract. He's a keeper.

I'll go with Greg Camarillo.

His hands aint as good as before and he is getting older, Rivers relies more on Gates and V-Jack and if Buster Davis FINALLY breaks out in training camp they wont need him as Floyd is quite comfortable in the slot

I was surprised to see Owens get cut from every team he's played for. So I'll try to build up an expectation for the next time he's cut.

Cowboys need to cut Isiah Stanback already. Dude is made of glass yet Jerry still has a hardon for him.

I agree with Roth, not with Cam.

I think Miami cuts Brandon London for sure. Wouldn't be surprised if Ernest Wilford is finally gone too. Eric Green and Jason Allen might also get the boot.

Miami is much deeper at WR then linebacker and Roth can play defensive end too. I just can't see him getting cut, last year I thought he had no chance to make the team. Funny how much something can change in a year.

Wide receiver on the other hand is much deeper and Brian Hartline is essentially the same player as Camarillo but he can play special teams effectively. If Camarillo doesn't get the axe then it'll be London like you said.

I think Eric Green is more likely to be cut then Jason Allen.
