Roy Williams: Can he become the next Fitzgerald?

Williams is slow? The same guy who ran a 4.37 and a 4.42 at the combine? The reasons he looks slow out there is because he might be half assing it.Comment
-
Yeah, Roy will just take plays off and he has been known to drop the ball too. He also will get upset and start half assing it if the QB doesn't look his way.
I like Roy, he was my favorite player when he was here but he just does not give his all. He has the ability to be a top 15, maybe even top 10 receiver but he doesn't want it as bad as some other players do.Comment

He'll never be Fitz, because Fitz has a QB that doesn't choke late in the season/playoffs.So, metaphorically speaking, our physiology basically has the universe mapped out and you're thinking it needs to be taught addition & subtraction.

Warner is considered a HOF'er by some.
It would take a miraclous string of seasons from Romo to warrant the same.
Anyways....
This thread is about a WR becoming a star like a WR that's 2 years younger than him? Ok....
Roy is who he is......he's not going to blow up into the NFL elite, no matter who his QB is.Comment

Oh another fun fact.. Roy Williams in 16 games had 430 yards and 2 touchdowns. Larry Fitzgerald in 4 postseason games had 546 yards and 7 touchdowns.
Only a Cowboy fan would come up with such a retarded comparison.Originally posted by ram29jacksonI already said months ago that Seattle wasn't winning any SBComment

There are Cowboys fans trying to defend this shitty article? I hope Roy does become the next (but somehow older) version of Larry Fitzgerald, but he hasn't shown anything yet in the NFL that resembles anything remotely close to what Larry Fitz is doing. Even in Roy's best season, the stats are only half the picture, Roy doesn't have the heart, he doesn't have the intangibles. I hope he proves me wrong this season, next season, and every season after that that he's in a Cowboys uniform, but no one should be backing this shitty article.Comment

For the record, he doesn't have to be Fitz.
Hell, he doesn't even have to be close
Just catch 70-80 passes, maybe fewer. He'll get his 1000 yards and 10 TDs, of that I'm sure, but he hardly needs to set the world on fire this year.
Not like he's the only option offensively.

I'd be surprised if he didn't, though. If he's not motivated now after having everyone shit on him for an entire offseason and playing for the team he always wanted to play for...
...let's just say there's no hope at all for this guy if that's the case.
