That's what happens when a coach is enamored with blazing speed on a receiver or corner. Same thing happens when scouts fall in love with a quarterback because they have a big arm. It's human nature to favor certain aspects of a person over another. Often times it clouds your judgement and leads to poor picks.

Art Schlicter is the biggest waste of talent I've ever heard of. I didn't watch him back then obviously since I'm 17 but I've seen some of the games he played... that dude was a freaking beast.

The Klingler one is the worst IMO, because Andre Ware had already proven to be a bust, yet the Bengals rolled the dice with Klingler.
