    Highest paid NFL'er = Elisha Manning



    ALBANY, N.Y. -- Eli Manning has agreed to a new six-year, US$97-million contract extension with the New York Giants that will make him the highest paid player in the NFL with an average salary of roughly $15.3 million.

                That's a whole lot of money. I can uderstand paying him well, but not like this. What was the point? It will be interesting to see what he does without Plax and Toomer. They have some young WR's with potential, but I'm not sure they'll be able to bail him out like Plax and Toomer routinely did.
