Kyle Orton gets booed by Denver Fans

Kyle Orton gets booed by Denver Bronco fans at a record crowd of over 13,000. Sucks to be him right now I guess. How do you think he will do? He's showing some early signs of struggling.

You think that's booing, wait until the bears come to Invesco once preseason starts.

I don't think people realize how awful Kyle Orton is. He was not only one of the lowest rated deep passer in the league (passes that travel 20+ yards in the air), he was also one of the lowest rated intermediate passers in the league (passes that travel 11-20 yards in the air). Granted the Bears poor WR corps played a role, but Orton's accuracy is terrible, and he has zero athletic ability.

          Good luck, Denver.

I have a legitimate feeling the Bears got a total steal for Cutler. Orton won't be an NFL starter for much longer. Two first round picks for an All-Pro quarterback is a pretty good deal.

On the same note, INTs happen in training camp when you're getting acquainted with your WR corps. Just this week, Cutler was pick 6'd by Urlacher down the near sideline. Cutler threw a bullet about 9 feet in the air, and Urlacher snatched it (2005 style) and returned it...

Thats nice. Usually when people boo, they aren't thinking "I hate to do this, but I have to...I'm going to bite the bullet and boo this guy in order to help him get better".

Are all people from Hattiesburg completely ignorant when it comes to football matters?

lol they never traded Cutler for him , they traded Cutler for picks and him . If anything they traded Cutler for the picks more than anything , McDaniels just wanted to make sure he got a starting qb in return for the Broncos franchise quarterback

And for the second question I think he will do average at best because well... he is average at best hiself on a good day

He's better than average on a good day. Most days he's slightly below average.

Lol @ 0 athletic ability (which I agree with) - I will never read your posts in the NFL section again. You post with such anger in the NFL section, I would expect you to be solid on your stances - instead you flip flop as much as any other moron out there.
                    WTF are you talking about?

The only thing Orton has going for him is his arm strength. Its good enough for the NFL. He does throw bullets. One, they aren't accurate. Two, its much easier to complete a deep pass if you know how to loft the ball and put touch on it...Orton throws a deep line drive. If Orton doesn't time his pass perfectly, then its incomplete because the WR has no chance to run under it.

IIRC, the context of my Orton comments were in comparison to Rex Grossman. So my saying Orton was better than Grossman was correct, but it wasn't exactly a glowing recommendation that Orton is a great QB.

Its funny how psychotic your posting is. If only you had a brain, it might have had merit! :applause:

I am denying it. No way in hell I would talk up a Chicago Bears QB. Orton having no athletic ability still gives him more athletic ability than Grossman.

                      Concentrate - and try again.

There's the rub. I didn't witness this other convo you two had but in Senser's defense, I'd talk up my grandmother's ability if we were comparing her to Grossman.

Ya because we know trading all those picks for a QB that has never seen the playoffs and was part of one of the worst endings to a season ever, was a steal...

Yeah it was Jay Cutler's fault that 15 running backs went down and he had a defense who couldnt stop high school kids.
