Hester to no longer return kicks

Devin Hester isn't going to be returning kicks any longer (kicks) so he can concentrate on WR. How do you think that's going to turn out? He had 51 catches, 650 yards+, 3 TD's in his first season at WR with Orton. I expect him to do better with Cutler.

That sucks. He better put up some amazing numbers at Wideout.

He will put up better numbers this year. Cutler can actually deliver the deep ball. Cutler will also make the WR's look good. Remember Royal was a return specialist who the Broncos put at wideout and he looked pretty good last year.

            ^^^ lol

This started last season when D Manning started to return kicks the way Hester use to return them. Hell still be on punts, but so far I think its Manning on KO's

About 1 year too late on that "no longer returning kicks" thing.

He should look better this year. When they go for a big pass play they wont have to rely on a pass interference call.

If Hester can't put up better numbers with Cutler at QB, then he needs to go back to returning full-time.

Smart, Move the most dynamic returner in football to Wideout and don't use him where he is best.

This is the only logical move if he's going to have to be the #1 WR on the team. He'll need to save his legs for offense, and PR. Doesn't mean he's gunna be a good WR, be he's the best on THIS shitty WR core.

True, but when your as thin at WR as the Bears are it pretty much leaves him with no choice.

Devin Hester just kissed goodbye any fame/popularity/notoriety he had in the league. Only reason anyone knew him was because of his return abilities. Now he'll be lumped into the pile of average NFL WRs.

LOL at people saying his career or his fame/popularity is over when his career was never really that noteworthy to begin with.

Punt returning aside, he really has no football ability other than running straight. And he didn't return kickoffs last season either, so really, he's the same thing he was last year. A deep-threat WR with questionable hands and no knowledge of how to get open who also returns punts.

If he didn't return kicks last year, then how will this be any different?
