Another injured Eagle (Ingram tears ACL again)

Damn, I feel sorry for Eagle fans.

TE Ingram Tears ACL
Head coach Andy Reid announced after Saturday afternoon's special teams practice that rookie tight end Cornelius Ingram tore the ACL in his left knee during a goal line drill on Tuesday. Ingram was on the practice field as late as Thursday, participating in a limited role. It's the same ACL that Ingram tore before his final season at Florida.

As a Florida fan, I was hyped to see Ingram go anywhere in the draft after the injury put him out all last season.

Hernandez did great while all the potential in the world sat on the bench and then when his number got called for the NFL, I was excited for him.

Now this... here's hoping he can recover from this big setback because his team is starting to drop like flies around him.

This was terrible news when I found out. I know he was going to be starting out at 2nd string, but I felt as though he had enough talent to earn a starting role sometime during the season. He is more athletic than Celek is, that is for sure, and I know he was opening some eyes during training camp.

Hopefully he can come back and contribute next year.

AND hopefully these damn injuries stop.

this is bullshit!!!! y do the football gods shit all over this team year after fucking year? this year was a great year for a dominant run at the superbowl. now with stew out, ingram out, maclin gettin to camp late,the andrews brothers bitching together,westy banged up, trent cole injured and even kevin fuckin kolb out(but he doesnt really matter) i see us struggling to even go 10-6. y do they hate us so????

It sucks. Ingram looked good in training camp. What's crazy is I heard he tore his ACL on the same exact day one year earlier. Him and Celek would've been nice in 2 TE sets.

Not sure how he's going to come back next year, but here's hoping to a speedy recovery. I was looking forward to watching him in the pre-season, too.
