    Brooks visiting Saints

Brooks, Vilma, and Fujita. I can accept this linebacking core. The Saints are doing work this offseason. I'm loving it

Aaron brooks took Kurt Warner's old job at Piggly Wiggly.

I hope Brooks gets signed, he still has some fight left in him.

So very true. The funny thing is everyone was loving him until we really saw how much of a dumbass he was.

I'm glad Derrick Brooks is getting another chance.

That's what Brooks was waiting for. Someone to go down. With Simoneau expected to miss a good chunk of time it is highly likely that Brooks may not leave New Orleans without a contract. Plus, Brooks does not want to bide his time and just collect a paycheck. He wants to play for a team that has a chance to win. New Orleans fits that mold.

They'd have a solid linebacking unit, not great but any good vet signing by the Saints would help

                        How so?

No playoffs the last two years, and a QB who folds up faster than a 7-2 offsuit in the 4th Q.

                            Yeah.

Where exactly is this team going? 15-17 the last two years, and a QB who pads stats in blowouts but chokes in the clutch nearly every time.

Brees had a 96 QB rating last year, but it dropped to something like 76 in the 4th Q, "late and close". Good for 22nd or 23rd in the league.

They score a bunch of points, give up a bunch of points, and win about 7 or 8 games. I don't see why that would change.

                              Who cares?

Everyone knows the Rams are terrible, and this thread is about the Saints.
